Profile

Born and raised in Sarasota, Florida, Shawn Dehart graduated from the Ringling School of Art and Design in 2000 with a BFA.  His designs earned him “Best of Ringling” in 1999 and 2000, received national recognition by winning first place in the “Halo Lighting” student competition in New York as well as IIDA best of show in another student competition at Neo Con in South Beach, Florida. Shawn stayed in Sarasota and began his career with an internship with Hoyt Architects. After graduating, he began working for Anne Folsom Smith Interior Design, then onto JKL Design Group and finishing with Home Resource before starting Dehart Design Studio in 2003.  Some of his projects include Spa Hollywood, Khrome, Salon Miashe, Octave and currently Blue 1266.
